The cover of the book has a pīwakawaka, or fantail, a native bird from New Zealand. It felt appropriate because pīwakawaka are very small yet energetic, restless, bold birds. I (Erica) often see them outside my window, bouncing and chirping but rarely staying still.
This may be an analogy for you and your business; always moving, growing, hustling to keep the dream alive. But if we are honest, we picked it because it is adorable.
